Do Statistics Defy the Existence of God

People think statistics defy the existence of God. Actually God’s order replaces statistics, or rather randomness. Statistics are based on randomness. randomness, or entropy is the absence of God or life, which organizes the universe. A seed organizes random matter around itself to “create” order – an organism. God organised random matter when He created our planet from what was formless and void. Thus believing in statistics is to believe in randomness/entropy/death.

Of course, God has the last word when asked by Moses, who shall I tell them sent me, and He answers, “I am!”.  Perhaps being is the antithesis of randomness or chaos.

Since my friend is Italian and had a hard time with the exacting language of the response, I translated it into Italian, which is my native language but not my best language.  I include it here just for fun:

Penso che la gente pensa statistiche sfidano l’esistenza di Dio. In realtà l’ordine di Dio sostituisce le statistiche, o meglio casualità. Le statistiche sono basate sulla casualità. Casualità, o entropia è l’assenza di Dio o della vita, che organizza l’universo. Un seme organizza la materia intorno a sé per “creare” ordine – un organismo. Dio ha organizzato la materia casuale quando ha creato il nostro pianeta da quello che era informe e vuoto. Così credendo nelle statistiche è credere nella casualità / entropia / morte.

Naturalmente, Dio ha l’ultima parola quando gli viene chiesto da Mosè, che devo dire loro mi ha mandato, e Lui risponde: “Io sono!”. Forse l’essere è l’antitesi di casualità o caos.
