“God Is Love” (1 John 4:6)

How can a “monolithic” God be love? I don’t think he can. Because love must have an object, a lover needs another lover. Thus, if John is right, that God is love, it makes sense that God is “on essence, … Continue reading

Big Bang AND Creation

Our world consists of bits or pixels, much like a TV show. It appears to be analog or continuous, but in reality it may be said to be more binary in its makeup. The Big Bang theory for the genesis of our universe may just be a close conceptual approximation of the moment of creation. God is “bigger” that we could ever imagine. Continue reading

Prophets and Quantum Physicists

Science and religion should be lovers. Instead they are suspicious, jealous and estranged. Yet God could be an amazing source of inspiration for science, and science should be a way for Christians to grow in faith as science works to reveal the invisible world of God’s creation. All it takes is an open mind, and open and willing heart. Continue reading

Milk is For Babies

If you’re living on spiritual milk, you’d better learn how to cook for yourself, and perhaps find a restaurant where they serve up a full menu, with all the food groups. “Then…you won’t become bored with being a Christian nor become spiritually dull and indifferent, but you will be anxious to follow the example of those who receive all that God has promised them.” Continue reading

Walking in the Spirit

Before we chose the way of earth over the way of God, heaven, we had senses that could “see” into what we call the invisible world. That is “extra-sensory perception”.
When we believe Messiah and the Eternal who sent him, we receive the eternal God-seed, and our “extra” senses are restored. Continue reading

Heavenly Sex

What is sex like in heaven, I wondered with my wife this morning. For a moment I looked into her eyes and, slightly surprised, she looked into mine… Imagine the difference between verbal communication underwater and above, in air. Continue reading

Dimensions 2 – Randomness and Ignorance

Randomness = Ignorance = Unpredictability. Apparent randomness and unpredictability can be defined as the sum of our ignorance. Does God appear random and unpredictable? Continue reading

Dimensions 1 – Heavenly Coordinates

If we define the dimension of a space or object as the minimum number of coordinates needed to specify any point within it, then God being infinite and eternal, or beyond time, would necessitate infinite “coordinates” to be defined. Can we not say that the entire Bible is a document from beyond time and space attempting to give sufficient “coordinates” in order to define God Himself to a people trapped in only a few dimensions? Continue reading

Show Me the Glory

“I only believe what I can see and touch, measure and prove empirically!” Really? You’ve just chosen to be much more limited than those who are physically blind.
Even “scientifically”, you are stuck in the stone age… Join me in a journey that even Einstein wasn’t willing to take. Continue reading

Mystery

To remove mystery reduces God and our universe and our potential down to the level of our current knowledge and purely human imagination.
Our imagination extended by the Spirit of God extends what we know in our four dimensions by unsounded vastness. Continue reading
